COVID-19

For COVID-19 Vaccination Queries DO NOT PHONE THE PRACTICE - see our COVID-19 Vaccination Page

Please do not attend if you have possible COVID-19 symptoms: COUGH, FEVER, LOSS OF SMELL, LOSS OF TASTE now or in the last 14 days, or if your are required to self-isolate due to contact with a positive case or because someone in your household has symptoms.

We have made a number of changes to enable us to keep our staff and patients safe while providing our service during the pandemic:

  • Please do not attend the practice in person unless asked to by a member of practice staff.  This is to reduce footfall in line with Health and Social Care Board guidance and helps us control maximum numbers in key areas of the practice so that social distancing can be maintained
  • Restricted access to Reception Area - Access to the main Reception area will be restricted to the public for the foreseeable future as part of our COVID-19 precautions.
  • Baby Clinic - Our open access Children's Clinic on a Tuesday morning is suspended until further notice.  You should now only attend on a Tuesday morning if your child has a scheduled appointment for vaccination.  However, you should not attend if anyone in your household has COVID-19 symptoms or is self-isolating. Please phone the practice for advice. The child attending for vaccination should be brought by a single adult.  Other adults and siblings are not permitted to come into the practice. This is to keep social distancing and reduce the risk of COVID-19 for everyone. Thank you for your understanding.
  • Prescription Orders - For prescription orders preferably order online or by telephone.  If this is not possible you may leave your prescription in the black post box in the porch - do not come to the hatch to make a verbal order with a receptionist
  • When the practice is closed you can order your prescription online, on the phone or by leaving posting your request through the letterbox on the front door
  • Please nominate a pharmacy where we will send your repeat prescriptions to for collection
  • Please allow 72 hours from ordering a prescription before it is ready for collection as our colleagues in community pharmacies are also experiencing a higher workload at present
  • When attending the practice please observe the 2m physical distancing rules - do not enter the black and yellow areas marked on the floor and do not enter the porch if another person is already there
  • Masks must be worn by everyone entering the practice in keeping with current law
  • If you need to contact the practice please do so by phone in the first instance - 028 91455000
  • All consultations will be by phone initially and any patient needing to be seen face to face WILL BE SEEN FACE TO FACE
  • We now also have the option to send photos by WhatsApp for rashes, spots and similar problems
  • The doctor may ask to consult with you by video. If so they will use Zoom. You can be prepared by downloading the Zoom app onto your phone or tablet and becoming familiar with it in advance:
