Statement Regarding Silverbirch Medical Practice

After careful consideration, I have taken the difficult decision to hand back the contract for Silverbirch Medical Practice. The contract will conclude on 31 May 2026.

It has been a privilege to care for the patients at Silverbirch for almost 10 years, and I am grateful for the trust many people have placed in me over the years.

The Strategic Planning and Performance Group (SPPG) of the Department of Health are responsible for arrangements to ensure continuity of NHS GP services for patients registered with the practice. Patients will be informed directly about these arrangements by SPPG who are seeking a new contractor for the practice. 

I would like to thank the patients and colleagues who have supported me and the practice during this time.
